The clock is ticking and Ronaldo still has not stated his desire to stay at Manchester United. As a United fan, I am just not happy. I am just not happy with a player having one eye on the door. Ronaldo has characteristics that we all over look because he has moments of genuis on the pitch. And even though he is arrogant, spoilt, acts like a child and doesn't have the temperament of truly great footballers, we say to ourselves, that all great players have their flaws...
And so we all overlook these faults, because of his skill...We all overlooked how Ronaldo didn't go and celebrate with his team mates after Van Der Saar made that penalty save in the Champions League final. We wanted him to be happy for the team but he wasn't. Ronaldo dropped to the ground and stayed there on his own celebrating. But nobody said anything, because the occassion was too big and the fact the United had picked up another European Cup was enough. Nothing was going to get in the way off our celebrations.
As a United fan, I've always over looked these various facts about Ronaldo's personality because of his moments of absolute genuis. But nobody is bigger than Manchester United. Not even Sir Alex.
But enough is enough. He doesn't want to be with United. So they should get rid of him.
I would be certain that players like Rooney, Anderson, Nani and Tevez would really blossom without him there. Rooney especially. Hard to know how if he has really coped with losing the limelight to Ronaldo. Plus we would be able to bring in new players with that money.
Unfortunately - Ferguson will probably keep Ronaldo and try and ruin his career. Nobody really gets out of United alive......."
